Just giving a shout out and an update to all. I've been a bit down-hearted about all the wonderful work that has been put up here, while I sit on the sidelines making my film. BUT REST AT EASE. I will most certainly post my film when it is completed.
In the meanwhile, I just wanted to share some news about me, for any who are interested in hearing. =)
Firstly, I got a very short film/ character study I finished back in December into the Philadelphia Cinefest (previously Philadelphia Film Festival) so that's a little bit of a YAY! factor.
It'll be playing in the program titled "...Even Jesus Had an Accountant".... which to be honest I find slightly... interesting? I'd be more than honored if any of you happen to check it out and give me some feedback! The Festival runs from march 29th to April 6th. Not sure what that program title means, but hell! I'm just surprised this thing got in! Certainly gives a girl a little confidence.Speaking of confidence...
Yes indeed. That goofball is me, with a pencil-lead covered thumb, celebrating my MFA acceptance letter into CalArts. Do I have the monies to go? Hell no.
Where there's a will, there's a way. =)
Also, sorry for the long boring post celebrating my news, but hey. I figured if there is one bunch of people I'd want to tell it to, it's definately you guys. <3
