The above is the last piece I made for the show, and it's something new I've been trying out with going a little more traditional using just ink and a brush. I can't remember what it was that made me want to try my hand at this kind of drawing, but I've been in love with people who work in a similar fashion: Paul Pope, Jeff Smith, Charles Burns, etc. So when I stopped at an art store to get a new table, I threw in some brushes and a nice little green bottle of black ink. Hope you guys enjoy, and for those of you that missed the opening the show at Chapterhouse should be up until (I believe..) September 10th. Thanks!
Update: Here's the piece I posted a sketch for below.

I think The Wreck is one of my favorites of yours, I don't know if that's just my traditionalness or what, but it's a really sweet piece. Sorry I couldn't make it out to the show last night, I had no way of getting into the city, glad to hear the show is up for as long as it is though, I'll definitely have to swing by there next time I'm in.
also, pretty sweet clouds in that 2nd piece, diggin em.
"are those watercolors? I think it's watercolor"
I love brush and ink so much. The possibilities of textures, and line width are endless! It was great seeing you and bumping into Shane on the way in. It was well worth the trip from Harrisburg to see it.
i think the Wreck is amazing. congrats on the piece and congrats on the show!!!
