Mac Tonight
Doug Jones is the actor that Hollywood turns to when they have a part that requires a lot of makeup. His recent notable roles include the creatures in Pan's Labyrinth, Abe Sapien in Hellboy, and The Silver Surfer in Fantastic 4.
A piece of trivia I knew about Doug was that he also played Mac Tonight in the McDonald's commercials of the 80's (I'm a big advertising mascot nerd.) So seeing as how the character is fairly obscure compared to his more recent roles, I thought it would be funny to create this piece and get him to sign it at a convention I attended earlier this month.
The piece really caught him off guard and he loved it. He also asked that I send it to his website, where it was posted earlier this week.
UPDATE: Here's a video!

This is so awesome and congrats! Doug is such a super nice, down to earth person, so I can only imagine the look on his face when he saw this. We should have a Doug Jones themed event. Another good one he did was the zombie with the tied lips in Hocus Pocus, as well as one of the Spy Morlocks in the new Time Machine. Cheers Glen!
P.S. I really hope that when Hellboy 3 is made that they focus a bit on Abe's past (Langdon Everett Caul). Either in Hellboy 3 or a B.P.R.D movie....time will tell.
wow, that's great, I totally remember those commercials. I had a Mac Tonight Happy Meal toy of him riding a skateboard.
Freaking amazing! I love this piece brings back so many great memories!
