Video Game Gore Horror Movies!

Finally got the chance to post my second and third pieces for the video game gore show. Two more famous horror scenes with some fun mario twists. They are layered pieces for some 3d effects.
These were really fun to make. I stopped by the show yesterday and it was awesome. Great work, can't wait for the next! (I also tried to stop by proximity to see everyone's pieces during gallery hours but it was closed for some reason, but i love what i've seen on the blog!)

there's a point where style renders concept null and you seem to cross that line every themed show. The mock-Dali-contrapposto-figure is really becoming a sign of you unknowingly chew off your own foot in an attempt to ooze style. A wise man once told me you have to know how to draw before you can choose to disregard anatomy to obtain style. Just a thought.

Just a thought? So your thought is basically just saying you don't like her drawings? I have a thought. How about you try to be constructive instead of being a fancy asshole. You are entitled to your opinion sure, as I am, but there are lines you don't need to cross. Like by being some anonymous bum and trashing somebody's style that you don't enjoy on a small blog. If you were to actually look into her own blog/ website you would see that she has always had the same style to her figures. Before you trash on somebody you should maybe do a little research so you don't have to eat your words later. Oh and PS. there is at least one person that thinks she can draw well, try Seth Green who bought one of her pieces in the 3G show.

i think the whole layered glass thing is super cool; wishing i could see these in person. also, the Kubrick fan in me is freaking out over Mario/Shining piece.

KC you are clearly growing in leaps and bounds over time, congrats on that, and selling your Ghostbusters piece to Seth Green at Gallery 1988 !

anonymous, i would thank you for your honesty, but i'd appreciate if next time you keep your criticism to yourself unless it's actually constructive. i know how to draw, and i happen to love my figures.

tim, thank you :)

pw, thank you, i always appreciate it !

Hey PW! I was checking your website out (really cool stuff btw) and i happened to notice Less Than Jake stuff. Did you create the LTJ evolution kid and all that other stuff?

hi Tim, thanks for the kind words!

if you can believe it, sometime around 1995/96 i sent a fan letter to my then favorite band, including a little picture of the 'evolution kid', which was in fact pretty much a cartoon of me (at 15) jumping up. the rest just kind of happened! it's super cool that we're all still friends and i'm still working for them today

thanks for asking, always makes me smile a lot
