this week is the opening of a great show i'm proud to be a part of. the rise up gallery art exhibition! these are 2 of my 6 pieces that will be on display, along with 30 or so more pieces by other disabled artists. for those of you who don't know, i am an artist living with paralysis. feel free to visit www.riseupgallery.com for more info and http://www.rutcp.org/ (rise up to cure paralysis)
"Rise Up Gallery is a collection of artwork created by artists with disabilities. Proceeds go toward Quality of Life Grants for individuals living with paralysis, Research Grants to Medical Institutions searching for a Cure to Paralysis, and an Adaptive Community Art Space."
"Rise Up Gallery will be showcasing art at the City Hall Rotunda Gallery in Jersey City for the entire month of December and Thursday, December 8th will be the opening night reception!
