Farewell to Goldmine Unlimited and this version of The Anchor Collection....
Join Bo Lee and I (Karen Hagen), as well as other regulars in bidding a fond farewell to Goldmine Unlimited, which will be closing May 1st to become an online version of itself.
The walls will be bare and we invite you to hang your art (a piece each, salon style). The floor will be clear and we invite you to dance. The Identity Show will be in the Micro Gallery, and we invite you to take a gander.
Mostly, we want to have a send-off of epic proportions! Refreshments will be served.
Must be 21 and older to partake in alcoholic beverages.

CALL FOR ENTRIES: IDENTITY Photo Show
The Anchor Collection @ Goldmine Unlimited cordially invites you to participate in a photo exhibit all about IDENTITY, opening April 17th. Criteria is very open, so have fun!
THIS WILL BE THE LAST SHOW IN THE MICRO GALLERY, and is a way of bidding a fond farewell to Goldmine Unlimited, which will be closing April 30th to become an online version of itself.
Entries should be submitted in jpeg format to theanchorcollection@gmail.com, no later than Friday, April 9th (8PM, to be even more specific). 28 pieces will be selected for the hanging. Once selected, printed piece size should in the ballpark of 11x14 to 16 x 20, with some leeway but keep in mind that the gallery is only a whopping 88 sq ft.
Other things you should know...the gallery walls are warm bright yellow on one side and mirror on the other with a chain hanging system.
Silicon Gallery (http://www.fineartprint.com) has offered a 10% discount on prints for the occasion. Pieces should be framed with a wire for the hanging, which will be April 16th. Good luck! And thanks!
In addition, keep an eye out.....within the next few days, I'll be releasing details about another, larger exhibit......an art party of sorts, also at Goldmine Unlimited.

The Anchor Collection & Paper Heart

Friday was the opening of Paper Heart featuring the work of our very on Jaclyn Sinquett and Avalon Clare @ Goldmine Unlimited. The show is amazing, and will be up until March 11th. I highly recommend checking it out! The Anchor Collection is now the official name of this fledgling gallery, and we are actively taking submissions (about 7 pieces) via email. Your art and support are both welcome!

The Anchor Collection @ Goldmine Unlimited
Hello Autumn Society,
I would like to announce my fortunate position as curator of a micro gallery located @ Goldmine Unlimited. The gallery/reading room is an intimate little space to hang and enjoy art. Each month I plan on having three person shows, and I am actively taking submissions. If interested, submissions should include 7 pieces in jpg format, via email. I will hand pick artists each month, dependent on themes and intermingling of the artists' works. I am also considering the possibility of solo and salon -style group shows for the future...
The current exhibiting artists are Reau, Tim Durning, and Stephanie Struse until Feb. 10th. The next show, Paper Heart will open on Friday, February 12th from 6pm-whenever. I'm still in search of one more artist and 7 pieces loosely pertaining to love (in keeping with that ol' Valentine's Day Spirit)!
