I.G.O.R. MNKNK

This is the cover art for I.G.O.R. and their album MNKNK. Which by the way is AMAZING and you should get it right now. I mean it, it's always great to have the opportunity to produce fun, interesting art, but when it's backed up by incredible talent like these guys you feel like you just hit the jackpot. So thanks go to Mauricio Hernandez & Victor de la Garza for trusting me with this awesome task and for making such inspiring music.

The idea was basically space mission gone wrong, with the detail of  Manekineko, the japenese (chinese (?)) lucky cat as a symbol of the failed amulet.

Exploring new territory...

This is the latest CD cover which I have done. It is for a comedy album which is a first for me. I have done packaging designs for bands which usually involves extrapolating the themes of the songs. In this case I was allowed more freedom by the artist and enjoyed working in a way which is less restricted.

i won't bog down the Autumn Society with a lot of images, but if anyone likes awkward youth, small minds, tiny towns, and monsters, lotsa monsters, i uploaded just a few of the images for a 10" record coming out on Halloween for the Coffee Project (at peterwonsowski.blogspot.com). if you like acoustic punk, you can check out a really good track here:

CD Cover

Well this post has been a long time coming. I started this
Project a while ago for a friend, He wanted me to do a CD cover
for his "hardcore" band. I was a bit hesitant considering I
didn't think my style would fall into this category of music. I did the
original piece a few months a go (the monster). But just recently did
a back cover. Overall a good experience and fun to do. Stay tuned for
A children's musician project and DVD cover by Alex & the Kaleidoscope Band.
