Well there wasn't to much going on the week, and I haven't done
a full illustration in a while. So I decided to participate in this weeks
Illustration Friday. Top was "Island" and I like how it came out.
Tell me what you think. Thanks. 72 DPI colors should be a bit better. But

St George, Le Fin

Hi all. Here's the final for my "Dragon" themed illustration. It was a bit of a struggle getting it done in certain areas, but in general I think it's a successful piece. I wanted to do a piece that wasn't so quiet, like my last few. So, a little more action and a pose that wasn't so stoic. I also wanted the skin tones to be kinda pale so that I could play up the reds in the hands more. Hope you guys like it. Later!

Well, I don't know how well this super rough sketch of mine fits with the "Fisherman's wife" theme, but I definetely got inspired by the whole theme and sketches I've been seeing here. So I hope to finish this by the first of September to share with everyone else.

My "Fisherman's Wife"

Here's my sketch for the Fisherman's Wife theme, i drew her in front of some family photos, hubby in the middle some fish friends and some other noteworthy sea pals.

Tandem Works

My roommate and I thought it'd be neat to do our own pieces based on the same phrase or word and since we're doing it we thought, why not extend the invitation on the of chance that other people are available to or interested in doing it. Anyway, I'll just tell you all the plan and if you're interested, awesome, if not that's cool.
~The 1st piece is called "Fisherman's Wife" we wanted to have some sketches done by the 18th and have everyone either meet up or show finished pieces by the 1st of September.
~The next one is based off of "Dragon," with sketches for September 8th and a get together for finishes on September 22nd or thereabouts.
So let me know if anyone's interested, or maybe just post the work up here on Autumn Society. I think it'd be awesome to see all the variations.
