Hi everybody- first thing, congrats to everyone in the Joker show! It was an impressive display to say the least. The above is a new page in my Sleepy Hollow book, where the Horseman finally makes his appearance. The editor likes to shy away from the overtly ghostly in this story, and tries to stay on the traditional side (so as to not lean on the Horseman's true identity one way or the other), so I was happy that he let me keep the mist that swirls out of his cowl that I added. The book is due out in May.
This is a sketch for an upcoming promotional piece. For this next mailer I wanted to develop a picture that could be applicable in a lot of different places, and the main concept it of course "growth." It could be about inspiration, hope, recovery, spring, gardening, or economics and hopefully potential clients will see a lot of possibilities in this piece. Thanks, all!

Ichabod & the Spooky Tree
Sleepy Hollow, pg 16, Pencil and Digital, 6.625x10.25"
Hey all, long time no see. I've been hammering away at a project for a while, and as a result I don't have much new material to show. In the interest of putting out some new stuff, the above is a drawing for my Sleepy Hollow comic, in which Ichabod Crane rides past a spooky tree. I liked the drawing a lot, and thought I'd share it.I did a few cards for the game Warlord (the very same CCG our own Eric Braddock did a piece for), but unfortunately I can't show the pieces until the set comes out at the end of next month. I'm waiting with bated breath to share those, but in the mean time scary trees will have to do. See you all at the Joker Show.

New Work
Hey guys. It was a busy weekend trying to get things ready for NY Comic Con, and I'm taking a minute to eat cereal and put up interwebby things. The above is the cover to my book with Powerpop Comics, an adaptation of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. I had submitted a different sketch idea, but the editor went with this one over my preference. I like it, but a bit reminiscent of a certain other comic cover..
The next piece is my first finished piece for the upcoming show with SM Vidaurri. I posted a sketch earlier, and like how this came out. The gallery show has been my way of sitting back and enjoying myself when I have the time between sketches etc. Looking forward to doing more. Thanks guys.
