MY ICONOCLASTIC DEAD (Guillermo Del Toro) - "Que es un fantasma?"
by Chogrin / www.chogrin.com
¿Qué es un fantasma?
-My favorite narration and lines from "El Espinazo del Diablo"
Guillermo Del Toro is a passionate man and leader that has influenced me tremendously. As a person, with my work ethic, as a producer of different projects, and as an artist. This is my tribute to him in the "Dia de Muertos" fashion for the Autumn Society's THE ICONOCLASTIC DEAD show in Guru Gallery this Saturday, October 1st (Mexico City).
I will be flying out for the event, and am very excited to be part of our new and latest branch, Autumn Society Mexico (with German Orozco, Jorsh Pena, Rosario Ruiz, and Anita Mejia). Until we meet again and updates soon! "HASTA LA VICTORIA SIEMPRE!"

Let's Have Fun!
Hello, I'm Steve. I'm happy to introduce myself as the newest member in this prestigious society. Huge thanks to Chogrin for the invite.
I'm from New York. Sometimes I do comedy. Most of time, I do illustration/graphic design, but often they all combine. I try to mix visual yummery with a dose of wit. Below are some samples of my work starting with today and going all the way back to 2010.
I look forward to seeing what everybody's up to and I'll be sure to post again in the coming weeks.

--Print these out on a nice thick card stock
--Cut them out
--Glue them by matching letters and/or following instructions
--Color some hard-boiled eggs with an egg coloring kit (I'm partial to Dudley's)
----AND TAKE PICTURES! You can email them to me at neil@neilnumberman.com
--and HAPPY EASTER!
'Til next time!

Tee 4 sale...one day only!
I designed this shirt for a brand new online t-shirt company called RIPT Apparel. They are like the other hip t-shirt sites like Threadless, Design By Humans, Shirt.Woot, etc...but they sell one exclusive shirt a day for ONE DAY ONLY, then after 24 hours...poof...it's gone! So starting at midnight TUESDAY JUNE 9th you can get my shirt i designed for only 10 dollars...that's right only 10 bucks, 10 clams, a sawbuck...what a bargain. Think of how cool you'll look in this swell garment...but ya better hurry, cause once it's gone...it's gone! Just click the pic below or go to...www.riptapparel.com
...and be sure to tell ya friends!

new junk
Howdy!
First off, congrats to Alex and Awakening Vol. 1! i for one am pre-ordering through Wade's Comic Madness in Levittown; i can't wait!
Secondly, Justin "Chuck" Edwards has been a good friend of mine, as well as one obscenely talented music maker, and i have been lucky enough to work on a very special project with him. Whether complex organically evolving beats, or lush dark orchestral ambient soundscapes, Chuck is always doing something impressive and exciting. This particular project is an uplifting yet haunting, orchestral imaginary soundtrack of sorts, and that description does it no justice.
The packaging will be 100%, limited to a very small press, and all hand screened through a special type of block printing. as soon as we get physical copies we will let you know how you can hear this beautiful music that Chuck has poured so much time and heart into. we are hoping the entire package of sights and sounds will help immerse people in the experience only an ALBUM can give from start to finish, as opposed to the "couple of mp3s here and there, way in the background" deviation.
Feel free to e-mail Chuck at new_directions@hotmail.com to find out how you can get a copy later this year!

Finally, here's this jerk. titled "La Commedia è finita!" after the final line in the opera Pagliacci. I have been trying in vain to muster the courage to strategically smash the corner of the frame it is in, but you just can not control chaos correctly, now can you

PROCESS: V-DAY Card
Hey everyone!
As some of you know, I do commercial Illustration for different companies from time to time. For the most part this type of Illustration has a super tight deadline (like 6-8 hours) to complete. So I thought I'd share the process for a promotional card I did for a design company, for Valentine's Day. This took me about 8 hours total with sketches, revisions, and prints. Enjoy!

Paris at Night
Did this piece for my mom as a birthday gift. Printed it out on some pre 'weathered' looking paper and burned the edges and sprinkled some water on it to give it that old timey travel poster feel. It actually looks much better in person then on a computer screen.**Updated**
I took a picture of the framed finished piece. And check out that frame indeed. If anyone needs frames go checkout AC Moore, they are all about half price off. Anyway, I'm not a professional photo taker person but you get the idea...
