Dia De Los Gorey

This is my piece for the upcoming Iconoclastic show in Mexico! I chose to portray Edward Gorey for this show. He is a master of illustration, subtle humor and absurd storytelling. It was a great challenge to mix my style with Gorey's and incorporate the Dia de los Muertos style as well.

Fetchez la Vache

This is my piece for the Crazy 4 Cult 5 show in LA. I'm very excited to be a part of such an incredible show with such incredible artists. Monty Python and the Holy Grail is one of my favorite movies of all time. I hope I did it justice.

122 1/8

I know, I know. In the first movie they get the pizza through the grate in the sidewalk. But this piece isn't necessarily from the movie. Plus, I have artistic license.

"Wise man say, forgiveness is divine, but never pay full price for a late pizza."

MY TURN TO WIN

Hey guys,
I once again had the privilege to work with the awesome Philly/Jersey hardcore band MY TURN TO WIN. If you are into hardcore, you probably know who they are and if you don't, you should. Great band. Great people. Also, they wanted an giant octopus battling a giant robot on the cover! How could I say no?

3G Showdowns!

Hey guys,
It's really tough to follow up everyone's work for this show, but here are my pieces for the 3G show. It was so hard to choose just one image to do for these amazing movies of my childhood. The Goonies is one of my all-time favorite movies ever! I used to watch it literally everyday as a kid. For a common theme between the 3 pieces, I decided to do a "showdown" (not to step on Scott Campbell's toes.) from each movie. So here they are...

"You're the first Goonie"

"1, 2, 3, Roast 'em!"

"Get out of my kitchen!"

No Face

Hello,
This is my submission for the Japanese show. I'm a huge Miyazaki fan, so I did No Face from Spirited Away. The little specs in the piece are gold leaf, which doesn't scan so well. Hope you all like it and I'll see you at the show.

DON'T PANIC

Lately I've been obsessed with Douglas Adams. So to help get it out of my system, I did a painting from Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy which is one of my favorite books of all time. If you haven't read the series yet, you should. Also check out his Dirk Gently series. It's only two books, but also amazing.

New painting

Here is a new painting I did. Just having fun. Although the blue I used for the sky is from a new tube of paint that I just bought and it dried really weird. It kind of separated itself on the paper and looks really grainy. It's pretty annoying. looks like that's the last time I use that color. Dammit.
