Jess's Process- 80's show

This is how I paint using Photoshop. Way, way different than the way i painted using Corel Painter. I used to flood fill a background and pull the light colors out like traditional painting, but now I have each element on its own layer, so I have to work one piece at a time and then blend it all together in the end. Notice how I have my references strewn all over the place.

sketches for the Darth Vader project

I just completed the sketch for the 100 Darth Vader project. I am doing a twist to a painting by Brouguereau. The second pic is the first rough sketch. Now, to the finish....Uhhhggg.

Joker Sketch

Hey all.

I had a few different sketches lying around for the joker show for a while, and I finally decided upon the style I wanted to go with, so taaaaadaaa. This is basically the "polished" sketch. The drawings only about 2x3 and the finished piece I'm thinking will either be 8 x 10 or 11x14. At the moment I really dont know if I should go for just an ink drawing colored digitally, or to water color it. Any suggestions would be helpful.
