Technology is Racing.

Hey dudes! So, here is my recently wrapped up contribution to the Triple G show. I always liked that there was a certain amount of scientific experimentation and innovation in each of the movies (I know, I know, it's Gremlins 2, but....) which ends up usually mis-firing, but eventually turns the tables on the baddies.

I really enjoy making piece specific repeat patterns, and so attached is the detail of the wallpaper-esque patterns in the background of each part...

3G: gremlins poster

Here's the first of my 3 posters created for gallery 1988's upcoming 3G show!

"gremlins" was one of those flicks i adored as a kid. i watched it over and over and over as a kid and i'm thrilled to have had an excuse to illustrate a piece of art inspired by it.

bright light! bright light!

monsieur Fantastique.

hello everybody!
i just came back from my holiday (spent some days in Copenhagen - i'm totally crazy for that city) and at my return i wanted to homage one of my biggest idol, mister Jack Kirby, a.k.a. The King.
(you can find it also on my flickr page)

Hello!

I'm Glen and I was just invited to join the Autumn Society blog which I couldn't be happier about. I was initially linked here by a friend because of all the amazing work that is going into the 8 Bit and Beyond show. I myself am a retro video game and pop culture enthusiast, and I create a good deal of art based on those subjects including an ever-growing body of work for online clothing company Splitreason.com that includes shirts, prints, stickers, etc. I decided I didn't want to interrupt the flow of great video game art so I'm posting a piece I completed recently that will most likely be showing up on Splitreason in the future as a print and girlie tee (I'm particularly excited that it's being considered for a girl's shirt because I get a lot of requests for those but I guess the market for girls gaming wear just isn't that big; go figure.)

The piece is an arcade themed pinup which is a bit of a departure from my normal, typically simplistic shirt designs, but I thought I'd give it a shot and see what the consumer reaction was.

Mega Man!

this is a friend of mine, i think you should know him too! we are friends since i was 8, and we played a lot together!
This is a vector-pixel art experiment, basically I created a grid in illustrator and then filled the squares with the desired colours.
A looooong procedure, but it's worth the time!
BBZZAAAPP!
